Five year number and rate of all firearms deaths per 100,000 population by county, 2019 - 2023
In 2024, the Tennessee General Assembly passed SB1657/HB1846, legislation that requires the Tennessee Department of Health to submit an annual report to the Governor, detailing the total number of firearm injuries and deaths, as well as certain demographics, caused by firearms in this state per 100,000 people that occurred in the previous calendar year.
